Sanctuary Definition: a place of refuge or safety.
In the Old Testament, the physical location of the temple was important. The Holy of Holies was that sacred place where heaven and earth collide.
Where is that physical space now? 636 E Water St, Pendleton, IN?
1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
By God's amazing grace, heaven and earth now collide in us! The Holy of Holies is no longer a physical location as we invite Jesus to sit on the throne of our hearts. We are the temple. We are the sanctuary.
Isn't that amazing!?
So wherever God's people gather becomes a sanctuary.
Now more than ever, people are gathering online. People who are desperate for a place of refuge and safety. So we are in pursuit of building an online sanctuary and we LOVE the journey we've been on!
